At The Water's Edge

I got off work a little early today, so I thought I'd wander around the campus to see if there was anything interesting to shoot.  Here's what I got.

Every Day Beauty

Here are some shots I took outside of work today, and even a couple I grabbed on the drive home. While I know that close up shots of flowers, grass, trees and clouds are all pretty cliche by this point, I just can't help but find them interesting.

I'll try to veer away from the subject matter in the future.

Finally!!!

So thanks to the input of a couple different people, I think I was finally able to figure out the problem with the colors in my uploaded photos. It turns out that by default they were being brought into Photoshop with the Embedded Adobe RGB (1998) color profile, when to get accurate web colors, it should be converted to the working profile which is sRGB. Then, instead of just saving the files the regular way, I chose the option "Save for Web", and saved them out as JPG's with "Very High Quality".

Instead of taking down my old post and replacing the images, I figured I'd go ahead and just repost this time so hopefully you can see the difference between the two.
It may seem like a slight difference in the colors, but I think it makes a huge difference in what you see. Open them in separate windows and compare if you like.

Color vs. B&W

There were a couple photos from the series below that I was sort of on the fence about whether to post them as black and white or color prints, so I figured I'd post them as both.
